Privacy Policy

REA Web & AI Consulting LLC ("REA", "we", "us") is a Connecticut company that builds websites, reporting dashboards and AI automations for local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through buildwithrea.com, our phone line and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English.

The short version

• We only collect what you give us, plus basic technical data needed to run the site.
• We use it to reply to you, provide our services and keep the site secure.
• We never sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
• You can ask us to see or delete your information at any time: [email protected].

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, business, email, website, industry, the service you're interested in and your message.
• Free website preview request: your name, email, phone (optional), business name, industry, the area you serve, and any optional details you add, such as your current website, style preferences, websites you like, your logo and notes.
• Phone calls: when you call (203) 433-6324, the call is answered by our AI assistant. We receive your phone number (caller ID) and the details you share during the call, such as your name, business, email and what you need. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can follow up. You're told this at the start of every call.
• Emails and booking: anything you send us by email, and the details you enter if you book a consultation through our Google Calendar booking page.
• Clients: if you become a client, the information needed to deliver our services, such as your website content, account access you choose to share with us, and, for REA Insights, data from the services you connect (for example Google Search Console, your Google Business Profile and your website's visitor counts).

Information collected automatically

• Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
• Security: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and bots. It processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard request data like IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
• Browser storage: the site saves a small note in your browser, not a cookie, so that one-time messages, such as our yearly-billing offer, aren't shown to you again.

How we use information

• To reply to your requests, prepare your free preview, and set up and hold consultations.
• To provide, maintain and support the services our clients pay for, including REA Insights reports.
• To keep records of leads and clients in our internal systems.
• To protect the site and our forms from spam, abuse and fraud.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don't send marketing newsletters. If we ever start, we'll only send them to people who ask for them, with an easy way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do their job:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, bot protection and visit statistics.
• Resend: sending our emails, such as form confirmations and booking links.
• Google (Google Workspace): our email, calendar and internal lead records.
• ElevenLabs: the AI assistant that answers our phone line, including call recording and transcription.
• Twilio: our phone number and call routing.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

How long we keep it

• Leads and inquiries: for as long as we're in touch about working together, and up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Call recordings: up to 90 days. Call summaries and transcripts sent to our email may be kept with your lead record.
• Client records: for as long as you're a client, and afterwards as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you,
• correct anything that's wrong,
• delete your information, or
• stop contacting you.

Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including under Connecticut law, you may have additional privacy rights, and we'll honor any request the law gives you.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe and will let you know if a problem affects you.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
