Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of buildwithrea.com, our free website previews and our phone line. They're between you and REA Web & AI Consulting LLC ("REA", "we", "us"), a Connecticut company. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Our services are covered by a separate agreement

This website describes what we offer and what it costs. When you hire us, the specific work, price, timeline and terms are set out in a written proposal or agreement. If that agreement says something different from this page or the rest of the site, the agreement wins.

2. Prices and information on the site

We work hard to keep prices and details on the site accurate and current, but they can change. A price is confirmed only when it's in your proposal or agreement. Turnaround times on the site, such as "most websites in 2 to 4 weeks", are typical estimates, not guarantees.

3. Free website previews

• A free preview is a design concept we create to show you a possible direction. It's free, and requesting one doesn't commit you to anything.
• We aim to email your preview within 48 hours of your request. Occasionally it may take longer, and if so we'll let you know.
• We may decline a request, for example if it's spam or outside the kinds of businesses we work with.
• Previews may include placeholder text, sample photos and details marked "to confirm". They aren't a finished website and aren't for public use until we've agreed to build your site.
• You keep all rights to the logo, photos and content you send us. You give us permission to use them only to create your preview. Please only send material you have the right to share.
• The preview's design and code stay ours unless and until you hire us to build your website.

4. Our phone line and AI assistant

Calls to (203) 433-6324 are answered by an AI assistant, and calls are recorded and transcribed so we can follow up. The assistant can share general information and help set up a call with the owner, but it can't make binding commitments about price, scope or timing. Those are confirmed by us directly, in writing.

5. Using the site

Please don't misuse the site. That includes sending spam or harmful code through our forms, trying to break or overload the site, collecting information from it with automated tools, or pretending to be someone else.

6. Our content

The text, design, graphics and code of this site belong to REA or are used with permission. You're welcome to view and share links to our pages. Please don't copy or reuse our content or designs without our written permission. Screenshots of client work and product demos are shown for illustration; demo screens use sample data.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including client sites we've built and services like Google. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

8. No guarantees

The site and free previews are provided "as is". We don't promise that the site will always be available or error-free, and we can't guarantee specific results such as Google rankings, numbers of leads or sales. Any guarantees for paid work are only those written in your agreement.

9. Limit of our liability

To the extent the law allows, REA isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or free previews. For anything related to the site or a free preview, our total liability is limited to one hundred dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
